Vallah-Freya is a roughly 7 foot tall two-stage rocket designed by me and constructed by myself and the LRA manufacturing lead as a smaller scale test-bed for our 2027 International Rocket Engineering Competition (IREC) vehicle.

Since a multi-stage rocket is a new endeavor for LRA, we have built this smaller two-stage to validate the key components of our competition design and evaluate potential failure modes before test-launching our full-scale launch vehicle.

The aerostructure and preliminary simulations are complete. We are currently in the process of integrating electronics and defining our recovery logic for our launch, coming this October.
